A Canuck on the Cut

Coming from the west coast of Canada, Vancouver Island to be precise, the inland canals of the UK seemed a world away, and as unknown to me as the Amazon or the South Pacific. Well, maybe that's an exaggeration but they're not something that I knew much about for most of my life.
