Last month AWA released its inaugural report into the State of the Water Sector. The report provides a fascinating insight into what we, the water sector, believe are the major issues today and what we think will be the major issues over the coming years. We are all aware that we face some pressing challenges as the sector considers the most effective approaches to manage the effects of climate change and population growth. The threat of climate change looms large, with the majority of water professionals citing it as a significant or moderate threat to the sustainable management of water.
