Water pollution in China, utility management in Japan and integrated water management plans for climate change adaption were just some of the issues raised at the third Aspire conference in Taiwan in October 2009.rnThere was much to discuss at the conference with over fifteen different streams and many presentations from post graduate students publishing their research. The focus was on detailed experimental designs and laboratory studies of pollutant removal of things such as Teflon, which is in high concentrations in Taiwan waterways from the presence of semi-conductor manufacturing plants.
