National water associations worldwide play an important role in the water sector development by supporting capacity building and providing an international network of water professionals. The challenges in the development of the water sector in Bulgaria concerns the whole professional community and this is a unique possibility forYoung Water Professionals to upgrade their professional skills and to prove their own capacity for achieving their professional ambitions. The main objective of the 1st National BulgarianYWP Conference in Sofia is to provide a platform for sharing the experiences of students, young professionals and researchers in the water sector, by meeting their peers and presenting their work.
