Pentair unveils latest innovations

Fluid and process solutions company Pentair has unveiled its newest innovations in water treatment. For the residential sector, Pentair's new 5800 valve features the XTR2 controller equipped with a large colour touchscreen display. The modularity of the valve allows for several electronic options to be offered on one valve rather than multiple valves as required previously, thereby helping to reduce carrying costs. The company also unveiled its new Pentek DFX Series Diamond Flow filter cartridges consisting of a polypropylene cartridge fused with a carbon block, which it claims will help to reduce space requirements under a sink and save customers money as well as reducing installation time.
