Last month's article ("Hydraulic Systems," Water Well Journal, February 2010) provided a schematic and additional information about hydraulics. Before reading this article, please refresh your memory by reviewing "Hydraulic Systems." We will explain some of the technical names in a little bit more detail this month.rnOpen center means that the hydraulic fluid will flow from the input through the valve back to the tank whenever the pump is running. Pressure will be down to back pressure or friction.
