This interaction allows the supervisor to know the employees better than anyone and know who's following safe practices and who isn't.rnIt is the supervisor to whom the employees will bring their safety concerns, and these concerns must be taken seriously-even if they're unfounded. Employees need to be confident that their supervisor will act on their concerns by providing correct information, eliminating the hazard, or protecting them from the hazard. This is how respect is built between the crew and the supervisor.
