Alley to Join NGWA Staff

William M. Alley, Ph.D., has been named director of science and technology for the National Ground Water Association. Alley recently retired after 18 years as chief of the Office of Groundwa-ter at the U.S. Geological Survey. He will assume his NGWA post November 13, 2012. "NGWA aspires to be the leading groundwater association advocating for the responsible development, management, and use of water.
