Two Japanese companies and a local Saudi company have joined in a SR1.3 billion partnership to form a joint venture to facilitate water desalination projects in Saudi Arabia.rnACWA Holding, Toyobo and ttochu Corporation signed the agreement with the aim to manufacture reverse osmosis membrane elements for seawater desalination.rnThe new company, Arabian Japanese Membrane Company, was signed in Saudi Arabia in the presence of the water and electricity minister, the deputy minister of commerce and industry, Khalid Al-Sulaiman and Tawfig Alrabiah.
