Full steam ahead on Komati water project

The Komati Water Augmentation Scheme, which includes the development of the Dhuva Water Pipeline, south-east of Witbank, was approximately 30% completed at the end of February this year, according to Bigen Africa project manager Corrie Marx. The project consists of a pipe scheme of 60 km of 1,1 m-diameter piping to Dhuva, which is almost 40% complete, and 12 km of 800 mm-diameter piping to Matla which has, as yet, not commenced.
