MANAGING ONE WATER

Today's urban water managers are swimming in a daunting swirl of challenges. The confluence of new patterns in population, weather, energy production, and climate, combined with dramatic funding declines, demand smart decisions in investments to meet water quality and quantity needs. It is critical that managers and policymakers approach our water resources in a more holistic, integrated fashion, using not just new techniques and organization, but a whole new mindset and ethic about water, its use, its management, and its worth.
