摘要

The role of different functional groups present in humic substances on the membrane flux is unclear. This study is undertaken to (1) separate the carboxyl and phenolic groups from a humic solution, and (2) evaluate the effect of each fractionated humic substances on the ultrafiltration (UF) performance. A weak-base amine resin was used for the adsorption 9pH 7) and the subsequent desorption (pH 13) of the Phenolic groups from a commercial humic solution.
