Wave Deflectors for the Reduction of Run-up and Overtopping of Embankment Dams

摘要

Wave deflectors can be placed on dam crests to improve the safety against overtopping and in the case of unsufficient freeboard. This paper includes recommendations for the dimensioning and design of these structural parts.
