One of SPA's important objectives is education, not only for pilots, decision-makers, and politicians, but also for the general public. Education is key to effective public relations and "friend-raising," an important building block of seaplane advocacy efforts. When SPA received an invitation to participate in the February 5th public open house for the Key West Airport SOAR (Southernmost Openhouse & Aviation Review), the opportunity to reach out and share the magic of seaplanes to a new audience was compelling.
