Globally recognized singing sensation Beyonce is teaming up with the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) to expand access to clean water supplies in the East African nation of Burundi. Under the multiyear BEYGOOD4BURUNDI partnership, aid workers will build new drinking water wells equipped with hand pumps in the landlocked country's most remote regions. The partnership also will improve or construct sanitation facilities in local schools. It also will include educational programs promoting hygienic practices and standards, according to a statement released online by Beyonce and UNICEF.
