Natural Diffusers for the Treatment of Residual Water in an Aerobic System

摘要

A cost-effective model water treatment plant was designed and built for use in typical urban water. The system includes, as a main innovation, the fixation of microorganisms achieved through waste plastic material and natural produces (ixtle and yellow oleander seeds). The results show an excellent performance of the natural materials, including an increase of the oxygen levels.
