摘要

The measurements of the calorific values for MSW clearly show that there was a variation that depended on the season and the location. The values were, however, very similar andrnwere higher when commercial waste was included. This increased calorific value was attributed to the high percentage of paper in the samples from the commercial areas.rnThe fact that the calorific values were measured after the removal of the moisture ('dried sample') implies that these values are actually the maximum that could possibly be obtained from waste. Measurements of the calorific values by Tchobanoglous et al. (1993) were very similar to the values measured in the course of this study.
