Airtel Q1 Profit Dips 9.6% to Touch $688.9 cr

Bharti Airtel has posted a net profit of $688.9 crore, down 9.6%, for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013. Last year, the company had reported a net profit of $762.2 crore. This is a 14th consecutive down in quarterly profits of Airtel. However, the company's consolidated revenues grew by 9.2% at $20,264 crore as compared to $18,570.3 crore in the same period last fiscal.
