Lightweight PC combines with IR camera for UAVs

Optris PI Lightweight is a kit composed of a lightweight PC from the PI NetBox family and a PI400/PI450 infrared (IR) camera, fitted with a 62° wide-angle lens. The total weight of 350 g enables the unit to be deployed in micro drones. The IR imaging system offers full radiometric IR inspection with 382 × 288 pixels at 12 msec per image. A 20-Hz video signal is generated during inspection flights and radio-transmitted to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator.
