Hanoi, Haiphong to Become Leading Electronics Centres

The electronics sector will focus investment on turning Hanoi and Haiphong cities into leading electronics, IT and software centres in Vietnam, according the electronics and informatics development plan for the northern focal economic zone until 2015. The Ministry of Industry and Trade said the electronics and informatics industry of the northern focal economic region will grow some 22 per cent and meet 85 per cent of the demand for software products and services in the entire northern area by 2015.
