On September 25, U.S. Senators John Barrasso (R-WY) and Martin Heinrich (D-NM) introduced S. 4694, the Russian Suspension Agreement Extension Act of 2020. The overall import limits and the feed restrictions generally mirror that in the draft RSA amendment, which has already been initialed by both the Russian and U.S. sides and was published for public comment on September 11. The Barrasso legislation specifies that the UF6 feed restrictions outlined in the draft amendment will remain in effect until the RSA is terminated.
