ESA 2018 Annual Report: Forward Coverage Rates Remain High; Long-Term Needs Drop

In late June 2019, the Euratom Supply Agency (ESA) issued its 2018 Annual Report, which provides an update on nuclear energy in the European Union (EU), nuclear fuel developments in the EU and around the world, and the Agency’s current and future activities. According to the report, there were 126 nuclear reactors operating in the EU in 2018, with another five units under construction.
