Climate change in cities: innovations in multi-level governance

It is well established that cities play a crucial role in climate change governance, but the actual work of implementation is in its infancy, and our knowledge about the potential drivers and obstacles for climate action in cities remains limited. The volume edited by Hughes, Chu and Mason, therefore, makes an extremely valuable and timely contribution by critically evaluating some of the pioneering climate change responses across the globe and proposing directions for further scholarship and action.
