Introduction to the special issue of book reviews section: urban and spatial planning in/of the European Union

摘要

After 3 years of a 'classical' book reviews section, we have decided to introduce a change in format that will appear intermittently in the future: a book review version of a special issue that will focus on a specific topic. What led us in this direction is that such a format may stimulate more interest and be more useful to academics, practitioners and students who want to be updated and/or stimulated with reference to a particular ongoing debate on a distinct research field which brings together different disciplines and aspects of relevance to urban issues.
