Jansz-Io win for Worley

AUSTRALIAN engineering house Worley has been awarded a contract to support Chevron's mighty Jansz-Io gas compression project in Western Australia. Under the contract, Worley said it will provide detailed engineering, design and construction management services for the Jansz-Io project's power transmission and communication components. It follows on from Worley's involvement in the pre-front-end engineering and design work and a follow-on FEED scope at the project. "The award of this contract further consolidates our strategically important global relationship with Chevron," said Chris Ashton, Worley chief executive. He added that "Worley's delivery team, execution methodology and demonstrated brownfield experience positions us to continue to support Chevron's vision of being the global energy company most admired for its people, partnership and performance."
