Aramco readies deal for expansion of Saudi natural gas liquids facility

SAUDI Aramco has hit the market with a new tender aimed at expanding the Ju'aymah natural gas to liquids facility in Opec lynchpin Saudi Arabia. State-controlled giant Aramco has been forging ahead with brownfield development projects this year despite relatively weak market fundamentals and challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic. Multiple people with direct knowledge of the tender process told Upstream that Aramco recently issued tender documents to its select pool of long term agreement (LTA) contractors for contract release purchase order (CRPO) 78 that involves the expansion of the NGL facility.
