摘要

LIBYA'S renegade General Khalifa Haftar has ordered a partial resumption of oil exports from the country's blockaded ports in a bid to ease congestion and tackle severe power shortages. The blockade may be lifted to dispose of stored fuel to address electricity shortages, Naji al Maghrabi, head of an oil facilities guard linked to Haftar's Libyan National Army (LNA), said this week. The ports closure imposed by Haftar's eastern-based Libyan National Army (LNA) at major oil ports and facilities since January has led to severe power cuts in the east of the divided country. It has also led to a build-up of stored condensate while reducing production of gas used in power generation.
