McCoss heeds the energy transition call

FOR Angus McCoss, a soft-spoken Scot who blazed a trail with Shell and Tullow Oil before turning his talents to the energy transition, a passion for earth sciences began in a boyhood bedroom. Two books cast a spell on the budding explorer: David Attenbor-ough's Life on Earth and David Bellamy's Botanic Man. "I was fascinated by nature and planet Earth at an early age, and I felt quite compelled to get out there and explore," he recalls.
