CHINA'S Global Offshore Engineering (GOE) has bought an offshore heavy-lift and construction vessel from a company owned by TechnipFMC. The privately held Tian-jin-based player said it acquired the Global 1200 deep-water derrick lay vessel from Global Industries. The Ulstein-designed unit left Singapore late last week and is en route to Guangzhou, China - a journey that is expected to take about 13 days. It is being towed by the POSH Commander offshore supply tug vessel.
