A clutch of contractors are keen to supply Enauta with a medium-sized floating production, storage and offloading vessel to serve the Atlanta deep-water oilfield in Brazil's Santos basin. The Brazilian independent is conducting an early production system in Atlanta with the Petrojarl IFPSO, but is tendering for a slightly larger unit to carry out full commercial development, with first oil eyed for 2024. Industry sources told Upstream that a first-phase screening process was concluded last week, with Enauta qualifying floater specialists including Canada's Altera Infrastructure, Norway's BW Offshore, Malaysia's Yinson Holdings, Netherlands-based Bluewater and Brazil's Ocyan to move forward in the competition.
