BassGas FEED delay

THE Beach Energy-led joint venture that owns the BassGas gas and condensate project off south-east Australia has reset the planned start of front-end engineering and design on a satellite field after the Covid-19 pandemic forced a slowdown in development of a key discovery. The Trefoil discovery sits in a water depth of 70 metres in Block T/RL2 in the Bass basin and is currently the subject of a concept select study by the engineering house Xodus Group.
