ExxonMobil resumes UK North Sea sales drive

EXXONMOBIL 1 as resumed the sales process for a large package of non-operated assets in the UK central and northern North Sea and is requesting interested parties to submit bids in October, according to recently issued marketing documents seen by Upstream. The US supermajor has retained Jefferies International as its exclusive financial advisor, according the teaser, in which the sales process is dubbed "Project Longbow". The flyer described the assets as a "unique growth opportunity" to acquire an "established liquids-weighted, non-operated portfolio" of 15 fields with net production of about 37,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, which is set to grow to 44,000 boepd in 2023.
