The UK-based contractor will perform fabrication and laying of pipelines, installation of subsea structures, control cables and hook-up and testing of systems on the proposed Breidablikk subsea tie-back scheme and gas import system for the Snorre Expansion project under firm contracts, with subsea installation an option on Breidablikk. TechnipFMC has also gained a letter of intent for similar work on Equinor's proposed subsea tie-back of the Askeladd West gas deposit under the next development phase of its Snohvit field in the Barents Sea. Offshore operations under the contracts are scheduled to be carried out in the period between 2021 and 2023.
