ARGENTINA state energy player YPF joined other unconventional operators in cutting production and activity in the second quarter amid the drop in demand following the Covid-19 outbreak, curtailing output by between 10% and 12%. Those cuts have amounted to about 30,000 barrels per day at present, the company told investors last week. That included about half from the Loma Campana joint venture with Chevron and half from conventional assets including Puerto Hernandez and Chihuido, chairman Guill-ermo Nielsen said.
