PRIVATE equity-backed independent Chrysaor has farmed into five licences in the Beryl area in the UK North Sea operated by US independent Apache. Chrysaor has entered into agreement with the US operator to acquire a 39.5% non-operating interest in licences P103 Area W, P2335, P2353, P2354 and P2355. Chrysaor, led by chief executive Phil Kirk, is also increasing its existing interest in licence P103 Area AA and P1985 to 39.5% The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
