EXXONMOBIL and its partners are set to pull the plug on plans to take a final investment decision this June on the $23 billion to $25 billion Rovuma liquefied natural gas mega-project in Mozambique. Upstream was told by sources close to the project that, while the US supermajor has yet to communicate its official decision on project sanction, it will almost certainly be delayed.
