Medco kicks off floater contest at Forel project

INDONESIAN independent Medco Energi has fired the starting gun in a contest to supply a leased floating production, storage and offloading vessel at its domestic Forel project in South Natuna Sea Block B. Well-placed sources said a pre-qualification exercise closed last week for contractors interested in supplying an existing FPSO or converting a tanker into a suitable floater for the development.
