DECOMMISSIONING costs of the Tartaruga Verde field and Module 3 of the Espadarte field in the deep waters of the Campos basin off Brazil are expected to total more than 1.6 billion reais ($382.8 million), with half of this to be covered by Petronas, the Malaysian company that farmed in to the areas in 2019. Brazil's National Petroleum Agency (ANP) approved financial guarantees presented by Petronas in its weekly meeting of directors. The agency also defined the relative responsibilities of the block partners.
