摘要

NORWAY'S gas infrastructure agency Gassco has in a new report come down firmly in favour of expanding the country's transport capacity to help exploit gas resources in the southern Barents Sea. A new pipeline from the Barents Sea and an expansion of Equinor's existing liquefied natural gas plant at Melkoya would be profitable under current conditions, says Gassco director for business development and projects Oystein Rossebo. "Our figures are based on proven reserves, which are currently 104 billion cubic metres," he says of the report.
