Novatek loads up LNG plan

NOVATEK has finalised a plan to use a single gas liquefaction and loading outlet for its next two Russian domestic liquefied natural gas projects on the Gydan Peninsula in West Siberia, Arctic LNG 2 and Arctic LNG 1 — a decision that is set to lead to a delay in commissioning at the terminal. The Russian independent has committed to investing an additional 20 billion roubles ($310 million) in the construction of the Utrenny marine terminal on the western shore of the Gydan Peninsula, according to a draft governmental resolution published on its website.
