Posco ponders exploration at Block DS-12 off Bangladesh

SOUTH Korean operator Posco International is preparing to make a decision on whether to proceed with exploration drilling in deep-water Block DS-12 off Bangladesh. Before that decision is made, the company formerly known as Posco Daewoo said in its latest guidance that it wants to complete an "investment invitation" process, which it began in the second quarter this year. The company recently completed the reprocessing of 2D seismic wave data, and is understood to have committed to acquiring 3D seismic.
