Abu Dhabi wildcat for Oxy

OCCIDENTAL Petroleum has spud the first exploration well in Abu Dhabi's Onshore Block 3, which was awarded to the US independent last year as a part of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc)'s first ever licensing round, writes Nishant Ugal. Adnoc confirmed in a statement on social media that Oxy has drilled its first well in Onshore Block 3 in the Al Dha-fra region.
