Spirit in Chiswick gas boost

SPIRIT Energy has boosted output at its Chiswick gas field, part of the Greater Markham Area in the southern North Sea, following an $88 million investment, writes Rob Watts. Spirit said this week a new well, C5Y, has doubled production from Greater Markham to 50 million cubic feet per day, with further work to come later this year. The jack-up Noble Hans Deul will return to the area, located about 120 kilometres off Norfolk, for work on the C4 well to further improve production, the company said.
