BRAZIL'S market regulator ANP sees no reason to postpone any of the three big rounds scheduled for later this year, writes Fabio Palmigiani. The country's federal audit tribunal TCU warned last week that hosting three auctions in a period of less than a month could have a negative impact on the outcome, indicating the blocks on offer would compete against each other for investments. The 16th licensing round is scheduled for 10 October, to be followed by the mega-auction featuring surplus volumes in the Transfer of Rights (ToR) area on 6 November, and the sixth pre-salt round on 7 November.
