KBR lands Greater Tortue-Ahmeyim pre-FEED prize

US CONTRACTOR KBR has landed the pre-front-end engineering and design deal from BP for the next two phases of the UK supermajor's Greater Tortue-Ahmeyim (GTA) development off Mauritania and Senegal. The Houston-based company said phases two and three of the liquefied natural gas scheme will see an ultra-deepwater subsea system "tied back to mid-water gas processing platforms".
