SINGAPORE'S Keppel Offshore & Marine (O&M) returned to profit in the first quarter, although the parent company's net figure was down on a year ago. Keppel O&M posted a net profit of S$5.99 million (US$4.42 million) in the three months to the end of March, up from a loss a year earlier of S$24.26 million. Operating profit was around S$3 million, down from around S$8 million. Overall, Keppel Corporation recorded net profit of S$236.53 million, down from S$334.09 million a year earlier.
