AUSTRALIA'S liquefied natural gas sector has settled into an operations period of relative calm as the teething pains of numerous new LNG trains are replaced by efforts to maintain full and steady production. In the past year, four new mega-projects have established themselves as producers - Ichthys, Prelude, Gorgon and Wheatstone - but the first three had to overcome challenges in the commissioning and start-up phases.
