Adnoc weighs up bids for Umm Shaif project

ABU Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has started pre-qualification for engineering, procurement and construction work on the further development of its Umm Shaif offshore oilfield. Project observers said Adnoc Offshore is pre-qualifying leading EPC contractors for the first phase of the Umm Shaif long-term development plan (LTDP-1), with the contract to be put on offer expected to be worth upwards of $400 million.
