THE market for large subsea umbilical, riser and flowline contracts is on the increase, according to Jean Cahuzac, chief executive of Subsea 7, with the Oslo-based player predicting that a dozen or more major orders could be placed in 2019. "This time last year, I named eight large greenfield projects which I expected to come to market in the near term. Of those, seven have been awarded with Subsea 7 winning two," he said.
