THE future of the planned Alaska LNG facility in the US remains unclear after the chief executive of the state-controlled entity developing the massive project said it could be wound down if found to be uneconomic, writes Caroline Evans. Alaska Gasline Development chief executive Joe Dubler told state lawmakers last week that the company, which is a corporation of the state of Alaska, is evaluating the technical and commercial aspects to determine if the project is viable.
